Hey guys! Long time no see! We have had a busy few weeks here in Guatemala finishing up ministry and preparing for the holidays and upcoming travels!

It is hard not being home to today, but I am so thankful for this new family I have here! There is so much for me to be grateful for because the Lord has given me such a cool opportunity this year!

Last Friday we celebrated my birthday and that was such an amazing time, because I was able to spend it with my new community here in Guatemala! My teammates decorated my room, my ministry had a surprise party and prayed over me and talked about how much I meant to the ministry. We also went out to eat for dinner, and the whole squad had a piñata and dance party to end the night! It was a great day and I felt SO Loved!

I am also grateful for all I’ve been doing at my ministry! We have been working in two villages called Palma and in San Lorenzo. In one of the villages we help build a house for a family and this family had never slept on a padded bed before. We were able to provide them with a new home and beds and when we presented the house to them they started crying and were so grateful to the Lord! We also are still playing lots of soccer and doing lots of home visits. This past week we partnered with a team from the states who was here for a one week trip with One Way. We did a VBS with them and the kids, which was fun and we also helped install ovens and water filters for several houses in the village.

I am grateful for this time that I get to spend with the Lord every day. I have been reading through the Bible daily and the Lord has been revealing so much to me. One of the things that I’m learning is that I am truly the clay and he is the potter. Whatever he has for me, I will do for him. He is also teaching me that every day I am here serving is a miracle. He has shown me the importance of community, which I am so lucky to have both here and at home. And he’s also revealing so much more to me.

Another thing I am grateful for is that we got to hike a volcano this past weekend! We submitted the highest volcano in Guatemala and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but also on of the most rewarding! It took us 15 hours of hiking to summit two volcanoes and hike back down! The view was stunning and so worth all of the pain to get to the top. We also got to see an active volcano exploding which was so cool to see in person with my own eyes!

In three weeks, my team will be heading to a country called Lesotho to do ministry and we are scheduled to be there for one month! Our team is being separated for this part of the journey, so it’ll be just the five guys for the entire month. I will have limited cell service, but God is going to use this time to grow me and my team. We will be doing a lot of manual labor, house visits, and working with a church there. I am so excited for it and to see how the Lord is going to use us more.

Please continue to pray for our squad as we press on this amazing journey !

ALL LOVE!
